Felix Hlophe, is a funny- and a busy man. The Vuma 103FM Kwasa Breakfast Show co-host and KZN’s much-loved comedian is one of the many personalities on stage this Thursday (April 25) in 99% Zulu Comedy and Friday (April 26) in Hallelujah Comedy at the Playhouse Opera Theatre.
99% Zulu Comedy, South Africa’s biggest Zulu stand-up comedy show which has toured the country, is hosted by Skumba Hlophe and audiences can expect a stellar line up of belly-splitting comedians including Felix Hlophe, Tsietsi Mahlakala, Lwando Mhlakatha, Nzuzo Cele, Alex Kunene and Siyanda Maphumulo who are set to bring a barrel of laughs to Durban audiences.
Hallelujah Comedy presented by Vuma 103FM will be hosted by Felix Hlophe and features Ditsebe, TD Jokes, Linzy Msimang, Isaac Gampu, Siyanda Maphumulo, Nzuzo Cele and Carvin Goldstone. This event is a family orientated showcase, with no inappropriate language or profanities and is suitable for all ages.
“It’s going to be two nights of side-splitting laughs.” says Monwabisi Grootboom, producer of the shows. “We have two strong and extremely funny line-ups of comedians who promise to have audiences rolling in the aisles. We are pleased to have Vuma 103 FM on board with us for the Hallelujah Comedy show to which we invite the whole family. It will be a night of good, clean fun – so bring granny and the kids too.”
Tickets are available on Computicket and range between R 150 – R 180 for both shows. Both shows begin a 8pm.
